Teen Twilight Review

Edward and bella by dutchtl.Shannon is one of our teen interns, she is a 16 year old from Maryland. She enjoys writing, is pro recycling, and loves the Jonas Brothers.

Let me just warn you, I rarely (and when I say rarely I mean RARELY, as in almost never) dislike movies, which is why my friends have stopped asking me for reviews. So I wouldn’t taking the following to heart.

But I loved Twilight!

I thought it was just the right amount of awkwardness, because in the book Edward is quite awkward and creepy, but that’s just part of his charm. Peculiar is how I define him and I think Rob Pattinson did that very well.

I totally lust for him by the way. Rob Pattinson. And Edward Cullen, but since he’s not physically tangible I usually don’t boardcast that fact. Head over heels in lust with Rob Pattinson. I find him to be quite dreamy. He’s gorgeous and lanky, has a voice that makes your heart melt like icecream in July, plays piano and guitar, and has the cutest crooked teeth. He makes me swoon.

Kristen Stewart is one of my favorite actresses anyway, so she could have done badly and I would still commend her, but I think she was fantastic. When James bit her and she was writhing around on the floor, I cringed all the way through until Edward finally sucked it out. I felt like that was eerily realistic. Haha and I liked when she slipped on the ice–very Bella like.

Rosalie was just as I imagined her, as were Charlie and Emmett. I think Jackson Rathbone did a good job as Jasper, since he was a difficult character to get into. Mike and Eric had me giggling the entire time, as did Jessica when she was checking herself out in the dress shop.

I thought Angela was sort of scary skinny, but you can’t really do anything about that. James I sort of had a hardtime seeing as supersuper evil because Cam Gigandet is just so sexy, but in the ballet studio he made me shudder so I think he was successful. I laughed when he asked Bella if it was okay that he borrowed her camcorder from her mom’s house.

Victoria‘s little fur jacket/sweater thing got on my nerves because it kept getting dirtier and dirtier. I wanted to throw it in the washer.

Oh and the soundtrack is ballin’.

All in all, I’d say that reading the book first helped a lot because I knew exactly what was going on and what they had left out. And I think they did a pretty fair job.

But like I said, I rarely dislike movies. In fact, if I say that a movie is bad is must be seriously terrible. This post is by Shannon who is a 16 year old from Maryland. She enjoys writing, is pro recycling, and loves the Jonas Brothers.
