If You Want to Post Here

Hi!

We have been getting tons of submissions for posting and items/websites/blogs/books/services for us to review–which is awesome! We are very thankful and love to receive submissions.

One of our teen reviewers or Vanessa Van Petten do review your submission.  We promise to get to everyone’s email if it is in this format and you will receive an email back from us.

Some Tips:

*Please do not send us forwarded press releases, often times we get press releases that are completely irrelevant to our readers, so a submission is not sent to us with a reference to our readers and blog we often cannot accept it.

*Please do not send us a form letter with “OnTeensToday.com” or “Vanessa Van Petten” pasted in.  We really want to look at your awesome stuff, but when you do not even take the time to write us an email, we do not want to take the time to review your submission.

*Please get the name of our website right, and Vanessa is not Victoria, nor Venessa nor Vanesa, nor Van.  We try really hard to spell yorus right when we post, please take the time to spell ours right.

*If you ask for a review, do NOT ask us to email you when it is up, if you ask for a review we hope you read our site and few get hundreds of submissions and postings a day.

  1. Vanessa, I saw you on an interview about child obesity and you commented on the need for better education in the schools. As a volunteer for the past 8 years at the local high school teaching a no-nonsense nutrition class titled, “Please Don’t Eat The Wallpaper!, I can agree that children want to eat healthy but they really don’t know how. After one 90 minute class, one student went home, sat her parents in front of the pantry and said, “Let me show you what I learned in school today!” She proceeded to read through the labels and educate her parents about the food they were eating. Our children need to be taught! They will respond. Dr. Irven
