As a volunteer for the past 8 years at the local high school teaching a no-nonsense nutrition class titled, "Please Don't Eat The Wallpaper!, I can agree that children want to eat healthy but they really don't know how. After one 90 minute class, one student went home, sat her parents in front of the pantry and said, "Let me show you what I learned in school today!" She proceeded to read through the labels and educate her parents about the food they were eating. Our children need to be taught! They will respond.
