What do you want to be when you grow-up?
When I grow up I want to be successful at my job, whatever it may end up being. Currently, my focus is on technology and graphic design. I’m taking a class at my school that is sponsored by Cisco to be certified as a professional networker.
What is your dream job? (even if skills/money/practicality doesn’t matter)
I think that my dream job would be to be a backup dancer for someone famous. I’ve seriously considered this and realized that it’s not really in the cards for me right now haha.
Do you know what you want to study in college?
I know that I want to study Spanish because I can comprehend it fluently and speak it decently. I also know that I want to study graphic design because it’s something that I really enjoy doing as well as creative writing or journalism. I’m really excited and interested to see what classes I like the best. I could end up having chemistry as my major for all I know!
Do you know where you want to go to college?
I really want to go to the University of Delaware but since they do not offer graphic design I’ve looked into a lot of schools in PA and Maryland. One that really caught my attention was Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
What is the biggest misconception you think parents have about teens?
The biggest misconception that I think parents have about teens is that they think that our lives are simple and easy, when in the grand scheme of things it may be, but we feel stress and emotions the same way that they do!
IF there is one thing you could tell parents about teens what would it be?
If there was one thing that I could tell parents about teens, I would tell them to really be in touch and talk with their teenager daily. My parents and I have a closer relationship in the way that I tell them about my day and any problems that I might be having and we talk it out and figure out a way to solve it!
What is your favorite website?
My favorite website has to be Yahoo.com because on the homepage they always have breaking news stories mixed with news of all different subjects.
Least favorite thing about high school, most favorite thing about high school:
Least favorite thing about high school: the pressure of doing projects, I really don’t mind the homework!
Most favorite thing about high school: the daily challenge to define and express yourself each day in a different way.
