A Mom:

I think that unhappy parents should divorce. Staying together for the sake of stability is modeling a dysfunctional relationships for children. Teens and kids need to see loving parents who are HAPPY. I think most teens I know who have gone through divorce (me included) would much rather see their parents happy than stable.

Excellent article. Thank you. Question:
If your parents are unhappy (no third parties involved), which would be harder: having them stay together for stability or divorcing. Thoughts?
Does it feel any better to have them wait until you are in college?
