A Different Kind of Summer Camp: Camp Sanctuary: Last month, Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, hosted a one-of-a-kind summer camp for teen girls ages 14 to 18. Our first-ever camp, Camp Sanctuary, was truly a week to remember, with girls from all over the country traveling to our New York Shelter in beautiful Watkins Glen, NY to spend time caring for and learning about our more than 600 farm animals rescued from abusive factory farming conditions.
