Featured Youthologist: Wendy Sunderlin
We have a lot of great new Youthologists going through our Youthologist program. We wanted to feature Wendy who just got her certification and is now practicing virtually and in the Philadelphia area!
And I’m coaching in the Philadelphia area and to anyone/anywhere virtually via Skype.
After years of working as a school counselor, Wendy became very familiar with teen issues and concerns. She discovered an overwhelming amount of teens felt the adults in their lives “didn’t understand” the issues they were dealing with, meanwhile, parents were floundering to keep up with new trends and trying to find ways to strengthen their connections with their teenager. Teens, parents, and community members often sought Wendy’s insight and advice on how to manage some of life’s challenges that go hand-in-hand with tween and teenage years. Now, Wendy is expanding her services on a larger scale, helping families locally and at a distance. Wendy accepts in-person clients in the Philadelphia area as well as virtual clients.
Wendy’s genuine passion for helping other’s reach their greatest potential lends itself to her youthology services. Her non-judgmental, compassionate way of interacting with others makes her relatable to both teens and families. Wendy is a firm believer of integrative, holistic approaches to leading a well-balanced life. Often her coaching incorporates the ‘mind-body-spirit’ principle of wellness.
