I would like to travel the world and report about all the experiences I have.

Somewhere out of state.

What is the biggest misconception you think parents have about teens?
Parents biggest misconception of teens is that we are always trying to sneak around behind their backs and we constantly think about having sex with anything with a pulse.

If there is one thing you could tell parents about teens what would it be?
If you raised us right and with good values, you really have nothing to worry about.

Least favorite thing about high school, most favorite thing about high school:
My least favorite thing about high school is waking up extremely early and not being able to ever get enough rest. My favorite thing is having lunch with my friends.

What do you want to be when you grow-up?
Psychologist, or Psychiatrist

What is your dream job? (If money/practicality does not matter!)
Either a Psychologist again, or Architect. I have been drawing home plans and exterior’s since I was 7 years old!

Do you know what you want to study in college?
Psychology major, and Health/Wellness minor

Do you know where you want to go to college?
Stony Brook University, New York

What is the biggest misconception you think parents have about teens?
They don’t know enough about their child’s life outside the home either from being too strict on them, not allowing an open communication, or choosing to be too lenient.

If there is one thing you could tell parents about teens what would it be?
They’re learning everyday from their mistakes, but need to feel trusted and loved and like to hear encouragement everyday. This give’s them the motivation to want to try their best at everything they do.

Least favorite thing about high school, most favorite thing about high school:
Like: I like the education I get and being able to take advantage of volunteer opportunities through the school.
Dislike: The immature/childish gossip that people tend to stirrup, and how rude and quick to judge peers can be.

What do you want to be when you grow-up?
A writer, either an author or write magazine articles. If not in writing, psychology, therapist.

What is your dream job? (If money/practicality does not matter!)
A world traveling artist!

Do you know what you want to study in college?
English, Psychology, art.

Do you know where you want to go to college?
UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, UCSD, or an East Coast School.

What is the biggest misconception you think parents have about teens?
That whenever we go out or stay out late without a set plan, we’re getting into trouble. I hate how “hanging out” is equivalent to “smoking/drinking/having sex/etc”.

If there is one thing you could tell parents about teens what would it be?
We deserve trust. For the majority, we’re good kids. You love us, and even when we mess up, you love us. But please don’t go too hard on us with punishment.. everyone makes mistakes, even you when you were our age.

Least favorite thing about high school, most favorite thing about high school:
Least favorite.. how rushed everything is. We get so little time to do so much stuff!
I love my friends, the academic variety in my school, and having more freedom and responsibilities than middle school.

Author, columnist, journalist, or singer.

Do you know what you want to study in college?
I would like to study journalism.

Do you know where you want to go to college?
Hopefully I could be accepted to University of Pennsylvania.

What is the biggest misconception you think parents have about teens?
I believe the biggest misconception parents have about teens is they are all trouble makers who sleep until noon.

If there is one thing you could tell parents about teens what would it be?
I would tell parents that most teens act out from a deeper problem than surfaced, or to see if they will stand by them.

Least favorite thing about high school, most favorite thing about high school:
My least favorite thing about high school is being judged by the people you hang out with, not by the person you are. My favorite thing about high school is having more independence.
