The Most Inspirational Person in my Life

Hannah is a 14-year old from Northport, NY. She enjoys soccer, snowboarding and cooking. Her favorite subject is math.

The most inspirational person in my life is my grandma Millie. She always inspires me to be the best I can be at everything I do. She is one of the most active and driven grandmas I have ever met. She is always looking for adventure and something to do which inspires me to do more activities. She is a therapist so she always knows what to say and when to say it. She is filled with love and compassion for all her grandkids. She also has been a writer for her whole life. She writes stories all the time about her life and everything that’s going on. She is the person who inspired me to become a teen writer. She has lived on the street next to mine for my whole life so she was always down the street if I needed her. Anytime I complained about something she reminded me how lucky I was and she inspired me to do good things. She always donates so many things to the poor and needy. She has done so many things to help the world and she makes me want to be a better person in life. She also is the person who taught me how to write poems and she taught me my favorite type of poem, a haiku. We always write haikus about anything and everything. She inspired me to write poems and let out my feelings and express myself through writing. One thing that she always does is she takes me to city a lot. She always takes me to a different museum and she tells me about some of the art. She knows a lot of things and probably because she is such a great reader. I’m a terrible reader and I don’t like reading at all but she inspires me to become a better reader and to read books that I really truly enjoy. She says you have to give a book a chance. And that makes me want to give books a chance. My grandma has never given up and has lived life happily and she has inspired me to do just that.
